ABOUT HERITAGE BANK CHILDREN'S BANKING MONTH

The best way to secure our future is to first invest in our children. As part of our commitment to transfer wealth across generations, Heritage bank has declared the month of May, every year as the Children’s Banking Month.

ACTIVITIES FOR THE MONTH

Some of the activities lined up for the month are:

  • My Day as a Banker
  • HB Glocal Video Competition

My day as a banker

This initiative is specially designed for students from selected secondary schools to assume roles at our Experience Centers. These banking roles include the Tellers, Customer Service Executives, Service Managers, and Experience Center Managers amongst others. Students will be dressed as staff of the bank.

Let’s go down memory lane… Last year featured loads of fun activities and this year promises to be more exciting. Pictorial highlights from previously held “My Day as a Banker” initiative can be viewed in the gallery below.

HB Glocal Video Competition

This is a social media video competition targeted at children between the ages of 5 and 16 years of age. Glocal, (pronounced ˈɡləʊk (ə) l/) according to Oxford dictionary simply means reflecting or characterized by both local and global considerations. The world today has gone global and to fit in, our children must first look outside their immediate environment and seek ways to improve and equip themselves with the right knowledge to enable them adapt anywhere in the world.

Children will be showcasing how Glocally savvy they are by producing a 60-second video clip. The top three (3) videos that attracts the highest number of likes will emerge the winner.
